Recipe Ingredients
Lettuce
1 can of Tuna
Salad dressing
2 or 3 hard- boiled eggs
1 can of anchovies
Capers
Gherkins
Parsley
Preparation and cooking instructions
Tear or shred the lettuce leaves and place in the bottom
of a bowl or spread out on a dish now sprinkle with a little
salad dressing. Next, break up the tuna into flakes and arrange
on top of the bed of lettuce and sprinkle on a little more
salad dressing. Then cut the hard-boiled eggs into quarters
and put a layer on top of the flaked tuna. Now on top of the
layer of quartered hard-boiled eggs lay the anchovies and
some capers or chopped gherkin and decorate with chopped parsley
or if you prefer leave the parsley in little sprigs.
Tip: The above quantities are a guide only and you may find
that you will need more or less of some ingredients. This
is up to you and your individual taste and may also depend
on the amount of guests that you will be catering for. You
may also prefer to leave the lettuce leaves whole or to chop
the anchovies and rather than cutting the eggs into quarters
to chop them a little smaller. Try experimenting!
