Recipe Ingredients
2 small cans of pineapple
2 pints of water
1 pint of sugar
Preparation and cooking instructions
Begin by pouring the juice of the canned pineapple into a
bowl and set aside. Then put the pineapple into a saucepan
with 1 pint of water and simmer gently for twenty minutes.
Meanwhile put the sugar and 1 pint of water into a second
saucepan. Bring to the boil and continue to boil for fifteen
minutes. Press the cooked pineapple through a sieve and then
add to the boiling sugar and water syrup.
Cook for a further fifteen minutes and then add the pineapple
juice.
Allow your pineapple sherbet to cool and then pour into a
suitable container to freeze.
