Chicken in Sherry

Recipe Ingredients

Chicken Joints
1 cup of sherry
¼ cup of milk
½ cup of butter
One third of a cup of grated parmesan cheese
1 egg (beaten)
Salt and Pepper

Preparation and cooking instructions

Begin by seasoning the chicken joints with salt and pepper. In a basin beat the egg. Then add the milk to this and beat together. Next, dip the chicken into the egg mixture and then roll it in the cheese. Melt the butter in a large skillet (frying pan) over a medium heat, being careful not to burn the butter. Add the chicken to this and brown for five minutes on each side. Now add the sherry.

Cover and cook on a low to medium heat for approximately forty minutes or until cooked through.
