Pork & Green Onion Wontons

This recipe will make about twenty portions
Recipe Ingredients
6oz of ground pork
2 finely chopped green onions (scallions)
1 teaspoon of oyster sauce
1 teaspoon of light soy sauce
Vegetable oil to deep fry
Wontons
The green part of green onions (scallions) for tying around
the wontons (optional)
Wontons Preparation & cooking instructions
In a bowl mix together the ground pork, green onions, oyster
sauce and light soy sauce then season with salt and pepper.
The mixture should now be moist but not sloppy, add a little
more light soy sauce or oyster sauce if needed.
Put a teaspoon of the mixture into the center of each of
the wontons. Brush the edges with water and then pinch them
up to make a little pouch.
Heat the oil, then frying only a small number at a time,
carefully drop the wontons into the hot oil. Fry until golden
and the filling cooked. Drain on paper towel and when cool
tie a piece of the green part of a green onion around each
wonton.
